Take me down to National City, where the grass is green and the renovations are pretty! Okay, now that I got that out… A new friend of ours named Jamie invited us down to National City, a small town in San Diego County to photograph her newly renovated home. Most importantly, we photographed her gorgeous floors. Jamie had the Lambrusco from the Chene collection installed all throughout her home and it is a stunning home indeed. Not only was her home amazingly decorated with this young, trendy, chic vibe throughout the space, but she was also so incredibly proud of her style, vision and aesthetic. Which in turn inspires us when we’re out shooting room scenes! She raved about the extensive research she conducted over the course of months selecting everything meticulously to insure her dream home would come to life. The amount of satisfaction she conveyed when speaking about her Urban Floor Lambrusco was the exact reaction we strive for as a hardwood flooring provider.
What probably impressed us most during our visit with Jamie was this section of the home, here. If I remember correctly, Jamie said from where the plant stands to the fridge and back, is all add on to the original layout. Her vision was to have an open format and since she has such a huge backyard, they built back and created this beautiful custom kitchen area. Her favorite addition to the kitchen area is that enormous island she called a continent! Lol. Counter space is everything, isn’t it? Counter space and cabinets are totally everything in a kitchen and she’s got them both! You go, Jamie! We’re right there with you in loving it!
Here’s another look at this amazing kitchen area. Talk about an island, right? And how about them floors? GORGEOUS! Everything ties together so seamlessly; this interior designer has talent!
A more detailed look at what we contributed to her project. All about the floors with us, of course! What do you think about Jamie’s design aesthetic? What would you use an island that large for in your every day life? Tell us what you think!
